Center for Applied Research, founded in 1988 by Robert F. Robinson, is a private economic research and consulting
firm serving a diverse range of public and private sector
clients.
The
Center has extensive experience in economic and socio-economic impact
assessment, including projects concerned with outdoor recreation, tourism,
mining, natural resource development and renewable energy development in the
western United States.
The
professional staff of the Center for Applied Research has advanced training
and practical
experience in economic modeling, economic and fiscal impact studies, market
research, project feasibility analysis and the formulation of strategies to
achieve compliance with environmental and other regulatory requirements. The
Center’s staff has demonstrated a unique capability to reconcile the pursuit
of private client interests with public policy goals and objectives.
In
recent years the Center has developed an in-depth knowledge of the changing
ethnic, demographic, socio-cultural and migration characteristics of the
American work force.
